Our Modalities: In-Home Sanctuary Services

All sessions are held in a steady, non-judgmental container, bridging rigorous inquiry with somatic presence. This methodology is designed to create a felt-sense of safety that allows for profound unfolding. To ensure the most supportive environment possible, Upaya provides In-Home Sanctuary Services. I come to your home to establish a dedicated set and setting where you feel most comfortable, completely at ease, and fully supported in your own space.

The Precursor Immersion: Somatic Rehearsal


Two Preparation Sessions | 75 Minutes:


In our first session, we establish your somatic baseline, moving beyond cognitive stories into the felt-sense. A core component of preparation is our Precursor Immersion. In the comfort of your home, using a blindfold, headphones, and a heavy blanket, I will guide you through a specialized process using Satipatthana meditation and somatic breathwork. I have personally curated the soundscapes and breath-beats for this experience to gently mimic a subtle, embodied psychedelic state.

This "controlled unfolding" is a skillful means to familiarize your nervous system with altered states while feeling entirely calm and held. This somatic training ensures that when you enter your primary journey, you do so with a foundation of trust and regulated presence.

Geometric Centering

In our second session, we deepen the immersion by incorporating focused meditation on the Sri Chakra Yantra. While in a relaxed, receptive state, we utilize this ancient sacred geometry as a visual and symbolic anchor to stabilize the mind. The Sri Chakra acts as a structural map for the internal landscape, providing a steady point of focus that prevents the inner horizon from feeling overwhelming.

By engaging with this geometry, we train the brain to recognize a sense of inherent order—a vital skill for maintaining presence during a peak experience. This focus helps bridge the gap between your internal state and the wider organization of the universe, fostering a deep sense of grounded belonging. Ultimately, the yantra serves as a non-linguistic compass; it is a symbol you can "call back" during your journey to regain clarity and centeredness. This somatic training ensures that when you enter your primary experience, you do so with a foundation of trust, regulated presence, and a geometric map to navigate the deep subconscious.

The Integration Bridge

Five Session Series | 60 Minutes:


This is a dedicated container for those seeking to ground a past experience—whether recent or years old. The goal of Upaya integration is not to interpret your journey through the lens of the mind, but to allow it to settle into the body. We work to translate "peak insights" into a virtuous, everyday life by bypassing the blockages of old conditioning and the ego’s urge to immediately rationalize what occurred.

These sessions utilize a stabilized Immersion Practice within a secure somatic container. Using a blindfold, headphones, and a heavy blanket, we create the conditions for a practice known in the Taoist tradition as Zuowang—the art of "sitting in forgetfulness." Zuowang is an ancient Taoist meditative practice of "dropping off" the ego and cognitive labels. In the context of integration, it is the process of temporarily setting aside our stories, theories, and interpretations to simply allow the raw somatic experience to be "in-formed." By "forgetting" what we think we know, we create the necessary space for a deeper, more organic wisdom to emerge from the body. Unlike the "primordial" precursor sessions, which use active breathwork to mimic a psychedelic state, these integration immersions use a slower, rhythmic "coherence breath" and low-frequency, grounded soundscapes. The intention here is different: we are not seeking to reach a peak, but to provide a resonance chamber for the experience you’ve already had. By holding this space, we allow the journey to seep deeper, settling into the cellular level where true neuroplasticity takes place. We move beyond the "labeling" mind to ensure your transformation is anchored directly into the nervous system, preventing profound insights from fading into mere memories or being distorted by the ego. This is the process of letting the journey become a lived, embodied reality.

I function as part of your established treatment team, collaborating with your clinical therapist or psychologist. My role is to provide a dedicated Somatic Grounding Container that integrates the deep, experiential work of your ongoing treatment arc. I focus strictly on the body, facilitating the neuroplasticity that anchors clinical progress directly into your nervous system.
